Imfolozi & Hluhluwe Game Reserve is an amazing tourist attraction. My Aunt had brought her friends from the United Kingdom to have the South African experience. I had gone with them to film content and create a video to remind her friends of the marvelous time that they had. I had used this video for my university application. An unforgettable experience - Nicho, Gift, Neels, and myself headed out to Umhlanga to spend the morning doing stunts and enjoying the sunrise. This led to me gathering the footage taken and the short film, aptly named Sunrise Sessions. Durban, South Africa the place to be.

Gesa, a young black girl, deals with survivor’s guilt and PTSD from the day she was unable to save Rose from their kidnapper. Now, three years later, the situation worsens when she can no longer remember the most crucial part of that night, how she and Rose were separated. She comes to meet a mysterious stranger, Clay, who advises her on how to deal with her situation, leading her to revisit the abandoned house in which she was kidnapped. However she soon finds out that she’s not alone. Things get worse when her PTSD is triggered by carefully orchestrated objects and sounds that cause her to imagine the missing bits of her memory that allude to her killing Rose. Honey and Sugar are best friends and roommates, spending their days drinking peach ice tea and committing a bit of murder. In order to supply their online wig store, they resort to killing and scalping people to make wigs. With Langa; the security guard, dead-set on catching the neighborhood killer, the two girls fumble their way through the chaos, resulting in many laughs. In a town restricted their freedom of expression, a content, mute David carries out his daily routine as the market place runner boy. However upon emptying a crate of perishables he discovers a purple cloth which hides a letter from the towns Reigner. The finding of color leads him to dream of an alternate world where people are free from the law. He attempts to keep the secret from his friends, however He’s soon found out. It is then discovered that the cloth symbolizes the induction of a new Reigner. But inadequate David refuses to claim it. A resentful Sapphire claims David’s missed opportunity, but soon regrets her impulsive decisions.
